Zac Cochran


Zac joined the Grantview team in June of 2015. He graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology.

Before beginning here he had many jobs working with animals. He worked for the Boy Scout of America with his council as the Ecology Director for 8 years, interned at the Wildlife Rescue Center rehabilitating Missouri wildlife, at the Saint Louis Zoo for 7 years in Education teaching at Camp Kangazoo and for overnights and just recently as a keeper for 3 years at the Endangered Wolf Center.

Zac has a dog named Zeus, that He spends as much time with as he can and a cat named Pumpkin, both that were rescued.

Zac achieved the Eagle Scout rank. He enjoys camping, hiking, and being outdoors and visiting zoos, other institutions like the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center and Yellowstone National Park.”I have always loved working with animals and am thrilled to be working at Grantview as a technician, everyone here is so friendly and welcoming and it is one big family here!”
